Yes we do have a basketball team!

About a year ago a basketball team was formed at the I.S.C.W to play in local competitions. They are called the I.S.C.Warriors and currently play open mens ‘C’Division on a Wednesday evening at the rec. centre in Werribee.

Congratulations to the ISCWarriors basketball team  for winning the D Division open mens Grandfinal in August , 2006. It was a close & exciting match all the way with an 11 point victory in the end by the warriors.

They are now in ‘C’ Division and are carving up the competition. This week they are currently in 2nd place and firing. The team consists of players David Menegazzo (capt), Simon Fuggazotto, Matthew Antonello, Adrian Bocca, Mark Todaro, Carl Calabro, & Karl Zausa.

They are fun to watch on a Wednesday night, fast and furious and star goalie Matt is a joy to watch. Speed is their main advantage against the other teams and barring injuries they should do well in this division.
